Why We Ride
Wheeling for Healing exists to support those impacted by Multiple Myeloma through research, financial assistance, and awareness. What started as a way to support Chris has grown into a nationwide effort to help others, raise money, and ultimately, find a cure.
Fund Research
Continued research is crucial for developing new treatments and ultimately finding a cure. Funding is needed to support clinical trials, drug development, and innovative therapies like CAR-T cell therapy.
Financial Assistance
Donations help provide direct financial assistance to patients, covering essential costs like medications, transportation, and daily living expenses.
Raise Awareness
Many people are unaware of Multiple Myeloma, its symptoms, and the importance of early detection. Public awareness campaigns are essential to educate communities.
Raise Money annually to support the UAMS Myeloma Cure Project, provide financial assistance for patients, and community awareness.
Expand our rides to cities across the U.S., engaging communities in fundraising and awareness.
Build a sustainable model to grow Wheeling for Healing year after year, expanding our impact to other blood cancers.
Form partnerships with corporations and media to promote healthy living, sustainable transportation, and cancer research.

“My dad was diagnosed with multiple myeloma shortly after we moved here. At 79, he beat it back into a managed condition and until his last year, lead a quality life, enjoyed his grandkids and celebrated many milestones with his family. I will pray for your friend and am happy to donate to the cause with gratitude and hope that medical advances provide many many quality years for all those with multiple myeloma...when he was diagnosed I needed to rely on my medical research friends to help me understand and to connect him to the best physicians. I had never heard of the disease. But since, I have run into so many whose families have been impacted by it. Even though there isn't a cure.”
More to come...
