When speaking of Multiple Myeloma, a 3,100-mile bike ride across America from the Pacific to the Atlantic seems insignificant. People diagnosed with this form of cancer endure a brutal series of treatments, psychological stress, and a significant financial burden. What can friends and family do to help our loved ones through these hardened times? In our opinion, we can at least lend a helping hand.

One of our closest friends was diagnosed over Memorial Day weekend in 2024. We were surprised we had never heard of this cancer before, and even more surprised by the lack of funding for its cure. We can sit by and do nothing, or we can try to raise awareness and money for research toward a cure. Can we make someone's life better? That's the goal.

Our bike ride is an adventure about weight loss, documenting the journey, testing our stamina, and three friends doing what they feel is right for a friend. We are leaving from San Diego with three friends, an RV, a scale, a camera, and a whole lot of excitement. After riding over 100 miles each day, we will spend the evening creating content to post on all social media platforms the following day. The scale is used to weigh ourselves daily, sharing with our followers how much weight we've lost or gained. We'll be sleeping in the RV to keep expenses low since we plan to donate 100% of the donations raised from this ride.

This will be quite the experience for three friends looking to make an impact. Will it go exactly as planned? Who knows, but we do have a solid plan. We hope to raise money for the University of Arkansas, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, and the Billings Clinic. This first year will be a large understanding of fundraising and navigating across America. We're really excited and hope you will join us for the ride.
